The Principia Gravel 40 is equipped with a Shimano GRX 600 group, a group dedicated to the practice of gravel. Shimano GRX is optimized for gravel in terms of ergonomics, sturdiness, stability and more. Principia Gravel 40 is also equipped with gravel-specific Panaracer GravelKing SK tires, powerful hydraulic disc brakes and much more.

Panaracer Gravel King SK

The Panaracer GravelKing SK are built for speed, even on the roughest terrain. A combination of an aggressive tread pattern, natural rubber compound and puncture resistance creates the basis for a high quality tire. GravelKing SK has a very strong grip on loose gravel, but the comfort remains. Despite extreme off-road properties, GravelKing SK easily handles asphalt with minimal tire noise.
